Randy Gregory first applied for the NFL reinstatement in March but was forced to wait due to the COVID-19 epidemic that delayed his application process. This caused frustration for Gregory, who came in August dismissing both the NFL and the NFLPA without a decision.
The same source confirmed on Friday afternoon that the NFL has conditionally reset Gregory for 2020 and that he will be able to report on team facilities September 7th. Football in 2019 and 2020.
Gregory has joined a loaded cup defense that is now proud not only of Marcus Lawrence, but also of Dontari Poe, Everson Griffen and Aldon Smith reestablished for the game earlier this spring. In the 2020 NFL Draft, the addition of Neville Galimore and Bradley Ana only adds more firepower to the line with an improved second-round pick at Tristan Hill.
