Between Real Madrid & Barcelona, which one do you see in better shape?

The Spanish League is currently the most exciting one of the European top leagues. The French league finished with PSG as champions, what a surprise right?... the Premier League has Liverpool as its undisputable champion, and the Italian league is also very even just like the Spanish one although I believe Juventus will not allow itself to lose a league title against Lazio. Bayern Munich won in Germany which was what everyone was expecting at the beginning of the season.

This leaves us with only the Spanish league as the exciting tournament to see which one between Madrid & Barcelona ends up winning the league. So far both teams have had a very poor year, they don't have the same level they had a few years ago when it was normal to see them in the Champions League final season after season, especially Real Madrid with their 3 consecutive victories and 4 Champions Leagues in 5 years.

But this season has proved that both teams need new blood, it is understandable especially in Real Madrid because they haven't purchased a super start after the sale of CR7. I don't consider Hazard a superstar from the top level, only Mbappe and probably Neymar have a level of talent/potential that could rival with CR7 and Messi. Barcelona, on the other hand, is probably suffering from a squad that's getting old, Pique, Busquets, Messi, and Suarez are already in their 30s and the performance isn't the same once the player reaches those ages. They also need new blood but unlike Madrid, they still have their superstar in the team.

Taking everything into consideration, which team do you consider is in better shape and with more possibilities of earning the League title? Right now Barcelona is in the first position, but if Real Madrid wins its Sunday's match against the always difficult Real Sociedad it will tie with Barcelona in points, and surpass it in the table due to the goal difference between both teams.
