Bayern Munich Goal feast, Barcelona tumbling in the Champions League.

Ten goals were scored in the Champions League quarter-final match between Barcelona and Bayern Munich at the Da Luz Stadium, Saturday, 15/08/2020. Barcelona suffered a crushing defeat to Bayern Munich with a score of 2-8 in that match.

The defeat caused El Barca to stop in the Champions League, an embarrassing defeat that became El Barca's worst match in the Champions League in their history.

In that match, Bayern Munich took the lead in the 4th minute through Thomas Muller's goal but three minutes later El Barca managed to equalize to 1-1 through Alaba's own goal, Bayern Munich, who appeared aggressively attacking were able to increase the lead to 1-2 at 22nd minute through Ivan Perisic's goal. Entering the second half El Barca, who were three goals behind, were able to get up in this match, through Luiz Suarez's goal in the 57th minute they were able to reduce the deficit to 2-4. However, Suarez's goal was not able to make Setien's children rise, they were devastated by Munich in the middle of the second half.

Kimmich, Lewandoski's goals and Coutinho's two goals brought El Barca to a 2-8 defeat in the knockout phase. This defeat destroyed Barcelona and died in the Champions League this season. After the match the Barcelona coach said that the opposing team performed better than his team, for that El Barca needed to clean up after this match. Hans-Dieter Flick as the Bayern Munich coach admitted that he was satisfied with the team's hard work to produce satisfactory results, they will continue to look at the next match in the Champions League in order to win the title.
