In the shadow of the corona virus again in the international cricket arena, the series may be canceled
Corona attacks again in the international cricket arena. The Sri Lanka Cricket Board said on Wednesday that their coach Mickey Arthur and batsman Lahiru Thirimanne had contracted the corona virus.
They were already preparing to play in the West Indies tour. A total of 36 corona tests were conducted on the team's coaches, support staff and netballs yesterday, with coach Arthur and batsman Lahiru Thirimanne's corona positive.
The cricket board has already informed that the two of them have been kept in seclusion as per the government rules. As a result, their tour of the West Indies may be postponed as the two of them have been affected by Corona.
Sri Lanka were scheduled to play two Tests, three ODIs and three T20I matches in the West Indies this month and in March. Now the board says the tour could be delayed as a result of the corona virus attack.
