Monchi shuts the door in Barcelona's face

Ramon Rodriguez "Monchi", the sporting director of Seville, has denied any intention on his part to move to the same position in Barcelona.

Over the past few days, it has been reported that one of the candidates for the presidency of Barcelona wants to attract Monchi to take over the position of sports director at Camp Nou.

For his part, Monchi responded, in statements carried by the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", to the news, saying: "I do not give much importance to these issues, I am more interested in the present."

He added, "I have read what is being reported and many other things. I am where I want to be. I feel satisfied and happy in Seville."

And Munshi continued: "I am happy here, and my happiness is the most important for me, as well as my family, and my fans as well. This is the important thing."

He concluded: "Sometimes, this is priceless."
