Salah is like Messi and Ronaldo

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed his happiness with his club's participation in a major event such as the Club World Cup with the best teams in the world.

Rummenigge said in statements to the third fans program: "FIFA is organizing well in the Club World Cup in Qatar, and we also welcome the presence of a big club like Al-Ahly with us in that tournament."

He added, "I know Al-Ahly, the African champion, well, and we follow him because he is the best team in Africa, winning many tournaments and breaking records, and therefore we are happy with that confrontation with him in the tournament."

He continued: "Last year we played against Barcelona and we achieved a great result 8/2, after we presented a big match, and Bayern have strength in the presence of many stars."

He praised the Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool player, saying: "He is one of the best players in the world and offers a distinguished level with his club, and has achieved great tournaments, so I consider him like the Argentine Lionel Messi with Barcelona or Cristiano Ronaldo in Juventus."

He added: "Certainly Salah is a great player and it is an honor for any club to include him, but we are not considering contracting him during the current period."

Rummenigge also praised the German coach, saying: "Hans Flick achieved great success after taking over at Bayern in November 2019, and he was as confident as we were in his appointment as a technical director after he achieved many achievements and championships."

He added: "We have a clear strategy in Bayern for the economic side, with the presence of many stars, headed by Lewandowski and Muller."
