Van Basten was a beast though...That Volley!!!
You know who I am gonna say is my favourite player, it's ZIZOU!!! also, Ronaldinho when he joined PSG, was my most cherished football years. What he did with Messi and Eto'o with Barcelona was just pure magic.
I also put Thierry Henry not too far on the list, I caught a picture with him in London when I was working for the PES final. Shevchenko and Casillas were there too...Good times!
How about Allan Shearer?

Zizou and Ronaldinho are two cracking picks too... Pity Ronaldinho turned into a party boy, he was ridiculously good for about 3 seasons, then the party lifestyle caught up with him..
I think Van Basten was one of the first players i loved to watch, so always has a place in my heart... Others up there for me would be Paul McGrath, Roy Keane, Denis Bergkamp, Patrick Viera, Matt Le Tissier, Paulo Maldini and Zizou as well..
I think a good midfielder is always more impressive than a striker, I agree with Vieira, he was so good, I used to pick him in every games, as he could play fantastically in defence, defensive midfielder and of course as an offensive box to box midfielder. I also love the "Non-Flying Dutchman" ^^
Ronaldinhio started enjoying that French life style a little too much, you can't blame the guy. At the time, the coach at PSG couldn't handle big names, and had authority issues.
