Ramsdale starts, Arsenal wins

It's been a good weekend for the gunners as they claim their first victory against Norwich city on Saturday thanks to goal from the gabonese international Pierre Aubameyang.

The gunners used their new signing goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale on his first start of the season for Arsenal and also his debut which saw them came out victorious.

The goalkeeper also kept the cleansheet on Saturday which saw arsenal winning the game by a goal to nil in the second half and also Arsenal's first cleansheet of the season.

This signing have kept me wondering if the service of Aaron Ramsdale is needed in the team or if propably they need another goalkeeper is he the right choice for the club.

Aaron Ramsdale past record of his previous club is not encouraging but it seems Arsenal saw a different quality in him.

The goalkeeper joined Chesterfield in the 2017/18 season which saw Chesterfield got relegated that season.

Ramsdale then join Wimbledon in the 2018/19 season which saw the team escape relegation with a goal difference of +3 .

In the 2019/20 season the goalkeeper then joined Bournemouth in the premier league which saw Bournemouth got relegated that season.

Aaron Ramsdale was then signed by Sheffield United in the 2020/21 season which saw Sheffield United got relegated that same season.

Now Arsenal has signed the goalkeeper from Sheffield United for a fee of £30. Will this be a turn around for the goalkeeper due to his previous record with his past clubs and also keeping cleansheet in his debut for Arsenal.

Though it is too early to decide as the season is still fresh with so many games still at hand.
