What if Covid is still with us in 9 months time will the event still happen?

Covid will be still with us, no doubt about that. Obviously science is evolving, probably there will be a vaccine till then, but there's still a question who's going to have funds to vaccinate the whole country. I believe some countries will be able to limit it, others won't

As @tbnfl4sun said, I believe too that the games should take place but with strict safety measures, which will cause huge financial losses. The number of spectators will be restricted heavily anyway. Broadcasters will gain obviously.
