Cross Country Skiing in Logarska Valley
It was still a holiday on this Monday. We took the opportunity for some family fun and went cross country skiing in Logarska Valley. There is barely enough snow to be able to ski. You need to avoid frozen spots and dirt at some places.
The day was sunny and pleasantly warms, there were not many people on the skies. It was perfect.
The days are still short and the sun is low above the horizon so the period of sunshine in this natural bowl was short too. After one pm the shadow line started to cross the meadow.
After skiing we went into an inn by the track to enjoy some more quality family time. Coffee, hot chocolate, pie, cake, ... Excellent!
Did I say it was a perfect day? Too bad that the short vacation period across the New Year was over.
