FOOTBALL MATTERS

Hello all football lovers, I hope you all had a wonderful and interesting evening with the football actions that took place in the English premier league, starting with the game at Old Trafford, St. Mary’s stadium and of course the match between the yet to be crown champions and Brighton, let’s not forget that Chelsea had some case to settle with Leister city as well at Stanford bridge.

Now let’s begin with the match at the north London derby at Old Trafford were Man united welcomed Fulham for their last home game and to be sincere it was a fantastic debut for both sides, although towards the end of the match there was a little disappointment for Man United.

Man United kicked off the game brilliantly well with soft touches from the captain himself Bruno Fernandes and as well as Paul Pogba which were all in good form and the man of the first halve with a fantastic strike into the back of the net in the 15th minutes Edison Cavani.

He scored in the 15th minutes with a lovely pass from the goal keeper David De Gea, into the legs of Bruno Fernandes which assisted in the goal scored by Edison Cavani.

In the second halve, Man United had lots of chance to add to the historic goal of Edison Cavani but were very unlucky as well. But in the 76th minutes Andreas with a fantastic header into the back of the net for Fulham, equalized and that is how the held on till the 90+4th minutes of the game.

Man united played excellently well and even though the game ended in a draw at least from the kind of form they picked am sure they will win Villarreal in the Europa league finals on the 26th of this month. And they are still secured in the second place on the premier league table.

Still in the premier league, the match between Southampton and Leeds United ended in a 2-0 win over Southampton at the St. Mary’s stadium, also the game between Leister City and Chelsea ended in a 2-1 win over Leister city after a painful loss in the FA cup finals. The yet to be crown champions were not left out as the battled with Brighton in a 3-2 win over Man city still in the English premier League.
