IT ENDED IN A DRAW

Yesterday, in the evening, we all watched Chelsea welcome Brighton to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League and I have been wondering how Chelsea was able to progress through to the FA Cup final on Saturday and not able to win Brighton.

Before the match, Chelsea sat in the fifth position with 21 points ahead of Brighton in the Premier League table and I was quite sure, that they will be hoping to get back at the West Ham team who sits in the Premier League top four table but unlucky for them, they could not win the match in their own home.

So, they will be trying as much as they can to reclaim their place back in the Premier League top four today and so today is going to be a tough match for the Brighton side.

So far so good, Brighton team has won 1 match and 2 matches ended in a draw while Chelsea won 6 direct matches. Brighton team is currently in the sixteenth position with 33 points and that shows they've really not been their best in the match and can't tell if they will survive in this match against Chelsea team.

Although, football is an unpredictable match because even the smaller teams can take the bigger team in a surprising way like Burnely dealt with Manchester United even though Manchester united later won.

Chelsea has also been dealt with by a smaller team so, if Brighton deals with Chelsea today, I won't be actually surprised but it will be for Chelsea's benefit if they win and it will be a shame for them if the visitors come and take the victory home.

Unlucky for Chelsea, the Brighton team was a tough team, so the match was feisty and fierce as both teams played with plenty of energy and aim to win.

The tackles and battle were hard and constant, as Brighton did all they could to limit Chelsea's chances of goals yesterday and they did well.

Yesterday's goalless draw between Chelsea and Brighton easily moved the blues to fourth position, back to their former position that West Ham sat in the same level with West Ham on 55 points but with a superior goal difference.

Although it was the best goalscoring opportunities and helpful points for the Brighton team unluckily for them, it does not really count as they are in the relegation zone. They are in the sixteenth position with 34 points, although they did a great job yesterday.

Chelsea is really relenting efforts and performances and needs to work harder if they really want to remain in the fourth position until the end of the Premier League match.
