Most of the riders live for their job and The Tour de France is the cycling event of the year. They will do anything to prevent an infection.
But the enormous crowd at the mountain stages was crazy. Although it's in open air the chance of an infecion is there.
What I also found shocking was that Christian Prudhomme, managing director of the Tour de France, also was infected and is in quarantaine now.
Prudhomme drives around with several guests during the tour like the French prime.minister.
Prudhomme is isolated for now.
I really think the virus is already in the bubble and the upcoming mountain stages aren't going to make it better I'm afraid.
If you like cycling. I recently created a new cycling community.
