Barcelona foils Betis' plan to buy Emerson

A Spanish press report confirmed today, Saturday, that Barcelona thwarted Real Betis's plan to acquire the full ownership of Brazilian back Emerson Aparecido next summer.

Emerson is jointly owned by Real Betis and Barcelona, ​​where he was with Los Verdeblancos for two seasons, and he also has a contract with Barcelona until the summer of 2024.

According to the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Betis plans to pay 9 million euros to Barcelona, ​​so that he can retain full ownership of Emerson.

She indicated that Barcelona did not specify the number of Emerson's sale, but he believes that the money offered by Real Betis is not enough.

Barcelona is seeking to achieve more profits from the Brazilian full-back deal, noting that Betis will receive 50% of the sale value, if it is made to another club.

She explained that Emerson does not have any offers now, and only got one offer from Milan last summer.

She stated that PSG had only spoken to the player's representatives by phone once, but had not made any offer to buy Emerson.
