RE: Should they have stopped the Crute fight at UFC 261?

From my understanding the doc stoppages are meant to prevent terrible damage to a fighter. This one is a tough call because nothing was broken, he wasn't cut, he was trying his best to hide his limp but in the end I think the doc's decision might have been affected by the way in which the crowd was reacting and what happened between rounds.

I don't think they should have stopped it either as it likely would have stopped itself in the first minute of round 2 anyway.
