According to the English website Daily Mail, Mario Götze is expected to leave the German Bundesliga when his contract with Borussia Dortmund expires this summer.

The midfielder has spent his entire career in Germany, but reportedly wanted to try out is luck in a new league entirely. However, the Premier League is the likely destination for the German born, with the likes of Everton and West Ham considering a move for the player.

According to German Bild, a contract extension has been tried to negotiate in place, but the parties have failed to reach an agreement and now the negotiations have gone into a knot.

This means that the midfielder is looking for a new club and that there may be more opportunities across European leagues.
