Barcelona trashed their visitor's Athletic Club last night in the la Liga Santander matchday 11, another back-to-back win for the Catalan giant. Barcelona beat Villarreal 3-0 on Thursday and had Athletic Club waiting for them on Sunday, Athletic Club is known to give Barcelona trouble when both teams meet on a matchday but last night was different as Barcelona showed their dominance in the Spotify Camp Nou.

The starting line-up was different from last week, Dembele and Busquets returned to the lineup but Raphinha was missing, and Gavi played as a false 9 pairing up with Lewandoski and Dembele at the front.

Barcelona scored the first goal of the match in the 12th minute of the first half, Dembele tried curling the ball into the goalpost but the Athletic Club goalkeeper kept the ball out, Lewandowski quickly rushed to the loose ball and played a cross into the box, Dembele jump high and heads the ball into the goalposts and gave Barcelona the led.

Barcelona found the goalposts six minutes later in the 18th minute, Sergi Roberto led the attack and passed the ball to Dembele, and the Frenchman quickly played a through pass back to Sergi Robert who played a shot into the goalpost increasing Barcelona's lead to two goals.

The goal hunt was not over for Barcelona as they scored another four minutes later, Dembele with the ball on his feet cut his way into Athletic Club's defense and played a pass to Lewandoski, R9 got the ball and 4made a round turn and then played a powerful shot into the goal post.

Barcelona was on a three-goal lead at the time frame of the 22nd minute in the first half and Xavi(Barcelona's manager) was not having it as he got booked by the referee in the 28th minute for bad behavior. Athletic Club looked stunned and still trying to figure out what hit them, Barcelona finished the first half with a three-goal lead over Athletic Club.

Ferran Torres sealed the victory for Barcelona in the 73rd minute of the second half as he fired a shot into the goalposts and who else but Dembele gave the assist for the fourth goal of the night. Dembele was subbed out in the 77th minute and the crowd gave a standing ovation for the Frenchman.

This is the kind of attitude I want the Barcelona players to have just a match bench for Dembele and he took it personally and delivered a masterclass against Athletic club last night. The next road is the Champions League this Wednesday against Bayern Munich, it's an important match that Barcelona, has to win to keep their hopes of qualifying for the round of sixteen next year, we wait and see on Tuesday night, Forca Barca 🔵🔴.

How I love it when I see you people having hope. You and I know you ain’t gonna qualify for the round of 16😂. With all your form you are going to Europa league.

Inter will beat plzn and even if they don’t Bayern will enjoy taking you to Europa. It was this same form you had and Bayern still beat you in the first round at the Alianz stadium.

Even if Barcelona does not qualify for the round of 16, it will give me great joy if Barcelona can defeat Bayern Munich I will be satisfied with that win more than anything 😩😩

You are missing the whole point haha. Barcelona beating Bayern Munich doesn't change the fact that uou are out of the champions league. Beating Bayern is not even a trophy brother🤣. This was the same attitude you people had last season after beating Madrid 4-0 when it didn't matter. This season when it mattered you couldn't even beat us🤣🤣

I don't care, Barcelona must beat Bayern Munich, and don't think the title race in Laliga is over Madrid are only three points behind Barcelona so they better watch there back😈🔴🔵

😂😂The title race was over before it even begun. All I want is for inter to beat plzn and then we can start our agenda. Barca beating Bayern at the camp nu is possible but I feel like your best chance to defeat them was at the Allianz arena.

It will be very difficult to beat them now that they are back in form.
