Today is the big day in the Uefa Champions League semi-finals. It is the day champions clash for a spot in the 2023 UCL final. This match is no ordinary match, it is a clash of titans between the defending champion of Spanish La Liga and the defending champions of the English Premier League. Real Madrid will host the first leg of the semi-final against Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium tonight, we have all been waiting for this match and finally, we are going get it today.

This is not the first time but sides have faced each other in the UCL, they met last year in the semi-finals of the competition. It was an incredible first league with both sides scoring each other back-to-back. Manchester City won the first leg 4-3 and in the second leg Real Madrid come from behind to win the match 3-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and ended the match 6-4 on aggregate, that same season Real Madrid went up to win the UCL title and were crowned champions of Europe.

Tonight's match is going to be intense between both teams. Manchester City's form has been superb, while Real Madrid's has been a little off for the past weeks but regardless Madrid is a different team when it comes to playing in the UCL, they take it more seriously and always deliver a win even in a tough spot that how deadly they can be in the UCL.

Manchester City on the underhand are not going to give up likely and this match won't be like last year because this time City got a trick off their sleeves. I am talking about the Viking Erling Haaland, this time Real Madrid's backline will need to worry about Haaland because he is deadly at the front of goal and will be a threat to Madrid's defense this night.
