We are back to the English Premier League as we commence the last quarter of this season.

However, we've got just 1 game going down today which will be between Steve Bruce's Newcastle United and Dean Smith's Aston Villa at the Saint James' Park.

Let's proceed to the analysis on this game, shall we?

Starting off with the home team:

NEWCASTLE UNITED:

  1. You and I will definitely agree that the Magpies have not been impressive this season.
However, if we are to take a look at Aston Villa's results of late, which includes 1 win, 2 draws, and 2 losses in their last 5 games, then we might just give Newcastle United a chance in this game.
  2. The fact that Aston Villa have also failed to defeat Newcastle United at St James's Park in their last 4 visits is also a huge one for the latter.
The Lions have only managed 2 draws, whilst losing the remaining 2 encounters.
This should definitely give Steve Bruce's men some huge boost going into this game.

Moving next to Dean Smith's Aston Villa.

ASTON VILLA:

  1. The Lions' better overall performance this season definitely puts them in better position ahead of the Magpies.
And although they, Aston Villa, have not been great of late, their better performance in both teams last 8 matches will also be a huge boost.
The Lions have managed 3 wins, 2 draws, and 3 losses compared to the Magpies' 2 wins, 2 draws, and 4 losses.
A big one you want to say for the Lions.
  2. The fact that the Lions have also been the better side in both teams last 5 meetings in all competitions will also give them, Aston Villa, some boost going into this game.
They, Aston Villa, have won 2, drawn 2, and lost just 1 of these encounters.
Another good one for Dean Smith's men you want to say.

CONCLUSION:
In all, a draw looks most likely to be the outcome of this game, but if a winner emerges, it would most likely be the Lions.

As always, your opinions, takes, and predictions will be hugely appreciated.

Love always from your Football Analyst and Writer, IbkDaGreat.

This is awesome but just like your stats says, the Lions are likely to take the victory today and I hope they perform better regardless of how they've been perforing lately. And I must day that they've doen a great job as they are currently in the 9th position so they've got greater chances than Newcastle men.

Very true @evegrace, just don't know what brought about their dip in form of late.

I hope they bounce back as well since they are not much of a threat for the top 4 positions.
