Oli Robinson has been dropped from the Sussex squad for the Bob Willis Trophy match against Kent in Canterbury on Saturday after being asked to join the England national team. As part of a closed-door training group ahead of the second Test against Pakistan, the 26-year-old pacer has been asked to enter the bio-safe babble in age bowling.

England's James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Joffra Archer and Chris Wax collided head-on with a four-wheel drive vehicle. He was in the same line-up for the third Test against the West Indies last month. Given the rotation policy that England has followed since the start of the cricket re-MP, some of the team’s pacers may be resting for their next encounter.
