T20 Indian Premier league 2021 - Day 7 [DC v/s RR]

One week into IPL Tournament, and it is getting entertaining day by day

Day 7 of the IPL 2021. Today's match was between Delhi Capitals [DC] v/s Rajasthan Royals [RR], played in mumbai.

Match Statistics:

RR won the toss and elected to field first.

DC did not start well. DC lost quick wickets in the power play and then keep losing wickets at intervals. DC managed to score 147/8 in 20 overs
The highlight was Jaydev Unadkat taking 3 wickets in the power play.

In reply, RR start was also not good. RR also lost quick wickets.
At one point RR were 42/5. Few partnerships push the total further, but RR kept losing wickets. David Miller played a good knock of 62 runs.
But the key was chris morris innings, hitting 4 sixes at the end to take RR home.

RR won the match by 3 wickets ( 2 balls to spare)

Analysis

Both the teams, need to look at their batting. Also need to work on the short selection.
Bowling was good for both the teams. Though not all bowlers bowled well.
Good catches were taken by both the teams.

RR bowlers fought well, but the score was 15-20 runs short.
Due was also the factor.

Hopefully, they will learn from this game and improve

Another last over thrilling match.
