Day 8 of the IPL 2021. Today's match was between Punjab Kings [PBKS] v/s Chennai Super kings [CSK], played in mumbai.

Match Statistics:

CSK won the toss and elected to field first.

PBKS had a very bad start. PBKS lost 5 wickets for just 26 runs in 6.2 overs
The top order collapse like a pack of cards.
Apart from sharukh khan, no one played well.
PBKS made a measly 106/8 in 20 overs

This is one of the lowest total so far this season.

CSK started carefully and reached the target in 15.4 overs.

CSK won the match by 6 wickets (with 26 balls remaining)

Analysis:

PBKS has lot to thing about. Some of the batsman got out playing rash shots.
Also, PBKS have to figure out their main bowling combination.

CSK bowling was good today, specially deepak chahar.
Fielding and catching has improved.
Batting still needs attention as they lost few wickets to rash shots at the end.
This is CSK's first win in the tournament.

Still early days in the tournament, teams can bounce back.

Today was more of a one sided match.
