T20 Indian Premier league 2021 - Day 9 [MI v/s SRH]

Day 9 of the IPL 2021. Today's match was between Mumbai Indians [MI] v/s Sunrisers Hyderabad [SRH], played in chennai.

Match Statistics:

MI won the toss and elected to bat

MI scored 150/5 in 20 overs. In the last over, MI scored 17 runs, 2 sixes by pollard to reach 150 total.

In reply, SRH started with a bang. First wicket partnership of 70+ runs in just 7 overs. But then, started losing wickets one by one. The same trend as their last match.
SRH lost all the wickets for 137 runs in 19.4 overs

MI won the match by 13 runs.

Analysis:

SRH lose their third match in a row.
SRH batting woes continues, middle order failed again.
Death bowling was not upto mark. Gave away 17 runs in the last over.
Dropping pollard's catch proved very costly. He hit two huge sixes in the last over.

MI bowling department has been class. The spinner rahul chahar was excellent.
But the death bowlers again won the match for MI.
Jasprit Bhumra and Trent Bolt combination is deadly for any team.

Chennai pitches are proving very hard to chase.
KKR lost from a good position, SRH lost twice from a good position.

Tomorrow we have two matches.

• RCB v/s KKR in chennai [3.30pm IST]
• DC v/s PBKS in mumbai [7.30pm IST]
