Breaking News :English Premier League Officially Suspended To April 30th Due To Coronavirus!

The breaking news at the moment in the sporting world is that the English Premier League EPL has officially been suspended by the Football Association FA until April 30th as the Coronavirus situation is being monitored.

We all know of what is happening in the world at the moment if you do not know then that means you live in a cave hahaha.

This virus all began as a joke to most of us, we all thought it was some normal disease, but the impact has intensified with my own country Uganda announcing a lockdown!!

I remember the first football league to close was the Italian Seria A and then others followed.

There was an informal suspension of the EPL a few weeks back as the FA chiefs were still debating on the impact of the virus.

According to Daily Mail,

A conference call was held between Premier League clubs on Thursday morning, chaired by chief executive Richard Masters, as they tried to find a way to move forward.

The suspension makes it likely for the league to end on June 30th this year if everything normalizes.

I really feel bad for Liverpool players and fans who were almost about to win the league after three decades!!!

It is really hard spending weekends of late because of lack of football hehehe.
