Win if you can, lose if you have to, but never quit

When participating in any competition we all want to win, it is logical, we are not prepared to lose, although we know it is within the possibilities, but mentally no one wants to face being defeated. To be last in a competition, to be beaten if you play soccer, definitely, nobody wants to lose, but we all aim to win when we do something, we always want to be the best in what we do, it is normal, it is part of human behavior and this will hardly change. but, if we can win, we must do it, we must give ourselves that opportunity.

There are times when it is necessary to lose, even if it hurts, all athletes go through this. There comes a point in their lives when they can be very confident of their supremacy, perhaps the exposure to so much information, news, and more, makes them really believe that they are very superior, almost super human, and that they can not lose to anyone. But it happens, because in a certain way they can neglect their training or because they commit some excesses, that they think will not affect them and it ends up affecting them a lot, and it happens what they did not expect, but it becomes present that they lose, that they fail, and for sure this can affect them a lot.

But they are necessary failures, because many times they get an erroneous idea of themselves based on what they see, on the exacerbation of themselves in the networks and television media, and it ends up affecting their psychology. So losing, failing, becomes a good tool to be able to put our feet on the ground again, and re-channel our energies.

Which brings me to another even more important point, NOT GIVE UP, this is transcendental, because greatness in something is achieved only with perseverance, if at the least sign of complication or if we fail in something, we step aside, most likely we will never be good, because giving up should not be in our plans if being among the best is our goal. And it is something that applies not only to sports, but to everything we do in our lives.

Win if you can, lose if you have to, but never quit!
