Major League Baseball gets a bad wrap about a few things, mostly that it's too long, boring to watch for some and probably not enough excitement.

For many of us, it's a beautiful game and the intricacies and it's history is unrivaled and a great catch, a homerun or a strikeout in a key situation is plenty exciting.

Every season there are eventful games with grandiose personal achievements that magnify how incredible the game really is.

We are merely a few weeks into the season and we have already witnessed 2 no-hitters. One last week and one last night and that is one of the most EXCITING moments in baseball to watch, because of how difficult it is to accomplish; including the need for great defense and of course some luck.

The 2 no-hitters this season so far belong to:

Joe Musgrove of the San Diego Padres

and the second no-hitter of 2021 was thrown last night by:

Carlos Rodon of the Chicago White Sox

Dating back from the late 1800's and a plethora of official games there has only been over 300 no-hitters thrown and a few pitchers have thrown more than one, which is even a more extraordinary feat.

Unfortunately, my favorite team the New York Mets have only had one no-hitter thrown, which makes no sense with some of the great pitchers they have had pitch for them.

No-hitters are fascinating to watch and the pitchers who throw them will be remembered forever.

It would be interesting to see if this will be the Season of No-Hitters?
