My picks for next week's UFC (Feb 6, 2021)

Current ROI is negative: -19.9% (AWFUL)
MMA record keeping started on: Mar 2, 2019
Total units risked so far (always flat 1 unit): 48
Total units won or loss so far: -9.552 units
Current record and negative ROI: (25-21-2), -19.9% (AWFUL)

In the last event, I picked McGregor to win and I also picked a prop bet of McGregor by knockout. Basically the opposite happened with Poirier knocking out McGregor in the second round so my record went down another 2 units and is at negative 19.9% ROI.

Here are my picks for today.

Michael Johnson (1.455) vs Clay Guida (2.80)

At 2-6 in his last 8 fights with 3 straight losses, this is a must win for Michael Johnson. He's 34 years old. That's usually the danger point for when fighters are let go by the UFC. Clay Guida's not doing any better at 3-5 in his last 8 fights with 2 straight losses. He's even older at 39 years old. This is a must win fight for both fighters. This is the basic striker vs wrestler match. If Johnson can stay standing he wins. Guida can win with lay and pray for a 3 round decision. I'm going with the younger fighter here. Thinking Johnson wins by KO or decision.

My pick is the Michael Johnson moneyline.
