Hello friends, soccer is one of the most popular game of the world. In my part of the world cricket is one of the most popular game. The reason behind this passion is that my homeland Pakistan, neighborhood country India and Srilanka won the cricket world every big title like ODI Cricket world cup, T20 world Cup, Champions Trophy. This reveals the passion and popularity of this game.
Cricket has been changed after the introduction of shortest format T20. It started first in domestic cricket and now It's one of the most popular format of modern cricket. People love to see big hitting. Now T10 league is also getting popular in domestic circuit.
People who are familiar with the game of cricket knows that gentleman game is played between two teams. Either it's a long test match, one day or T20 match team format remains same.
But now there is interesting time in cricket world. As South African board decided to organize a match between 3 teams. Strange Isn't it? Cricket followers will amazed with this news. Yes you will view the match between 3 team. Cricket South Africa decided to stage the match on June 27, 2020.
Three team format cricket match has 36 overs.There will be two innings of the match. 18 overs in each inning. Each team has 8 players Each team have to bowl and bat 12 overs each. six overs to bat and six overs to ball. One Bowler can deliver maximum 3 overs in a match. Interesting point of the match is that each team will bat and ball against the each team. Winner of the game will get the gold medal, runner up will be rewarded as silver and the 3rd number team will get the bronze model. Interesting isn't it?
In my opinion it will transform the game of cricket. Just like T20 and T10 games change the tactics of cricket. I am not sure if competing 3 team match will get popularity but one thing is sure that it will not only make game more interesting but also change the dynamics of the game.

I think it's a gimmick and only designed as a one-off match for charity. I don't think it will become a popular form of the game at the top level. I can see it being more popular maybe at an amateur level or school level. In fact, at school we used to play 8 a side matches but with only 2 teams.
