the weekend might be over but of course, the events that took place is worth talking about to this day. with football actions happening virtually in all countries around Europe. well, some events were worth talking about but let's take it from the earliest part.
the first match of the English league was played on Friday and it was a match between Wolves and Leeds united. Leeds were beaten by a Wolves side who continued their revival to the top of the league. Wolves resurgence to the top is quite similar to how they have been doing it in season past. although the match was a tightly contested one, but it was worth watching. the game ended with just one goal and it came from an error by the young Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier.
the next premier league match was on a Saturday afternoon has high flying saints battle it out against a Chelsea side who are still trying to find their feet under a new coach. the match ended with a 1-1 draw but both sides will take comfort that they both gave their all in a tightly contested match. Saints drew first blood from their Liverpool loanee Takumi Minamino as he scores his third goal from his third shot in 2021. Chelsea responded through mason mount to make the game end at 1-1.
The result from other premier league match saw Liverpool fall to their 7th defeat of the premier league season as they lost to Everton at Anfield. the match was interesting due to how both teams heavily invested their energy towards winning the match. Everton cam ontop as a 3rd-minute goal from Richerlison put Toffees ahead. Liverpool should have levelled and probably being ahead in the match but Pickford superb performance at the goal post kept the match in Everton favour. Everton put the game out of Liverpool reach in the 83rd minute as Gylfi Sigurdsson converted from the penalty.
in another league, there was trouble in paradise for Spanish league leaders Athletico Madrid as they lost more ground in their race to win the league for the first time since 2013. the shock loss came as a surprise to many has ATM were clear favourite against eventual winners Levante. the first goal came in the 30th minute while the last was through a penalty in the 95th. the loss cuts Athletico lead at the top of the table to just three-point, although they have a game in hand.
A shocking result was also seen in the Germany league has Bayern Munich fell to a shocking defeat after drawing their last league match. the 2-1 defeat further attest to how bad Bayern Munich form has been in recent weeks. Eintracht Frankfurt did more than enough to get the win and their two first-half goals made things easier for them on the run. Bayern Munich was able to get a goal back in the second half through Lewy but their performance was bad.
they were positives result in the Real Madrid camp as they closed the gap between themselves and league leaders to three points. the win was a very much welcome result as it further helped lift the mood around the Madrid camp. The winning goal came from an unlikely source in the person of Casimero but no one in the Madrid camp will mind the scorer. the win took real Madrid three-point over Barcelona and three-point below Athletico Madrid.
Erling Braut Haaland continued from where he left off in the champions league by scoring a brace for Dortmund in a match they won by four un-replied goals. Jadon Sancho also turned up as he opened the scoring before assisting the first of Haaland goals. Haaland scores his second of the night in the 79th minute. that was his side fourth goal of the match and it came after Raphael Guerreiro had scored the third which came from Reus assists.

El primer gol del Saints fue obra de Takumi Minamino, cedido por el Liverpool, que marcó su tercer gol en 2021. El Chelsea respondió por medio de Mason Mount para hacer que el partido terminara en 1-1.
El resultado del otro partido de la Premier League fue que el Liverpool sufrió su séptima derrota de la temporada de la Premier League al perder contra el Everton en Anfield. El Everton se puso por delante con un gol de Richerlison en el minuto 3. El Liverpool debería haber empatado y probablemente estar por delante en el partido, pero la magnífica actuación de Pickford en el poste mantuvo el partido a favor del Everton. El Eintracht de Fráncfort hizo más que suficiente para conseguir la victoria y sus dos goles en la primera parte le facilitaron las cosas en la carrera.
