Even I would have to admit that our European dream after our first season in the Premiership is now looking extremely doubtful. With just 12 games remaining, and the leagues form appearing to be set, we don't stand a cat in hells chance.

Saturday was dire. Possession needs to be turned into opportunity and despite the magic of Raphinha, all the hard work in the world was never going to get us a goal. A load of soft chances which their goalie just mopped up. We need more firepower and creativity which we might have with Rodrigo, but he's still injured along with our driving force, Kalvin Phillips.
A plus point was Llorente. Solid and reliable despite his season-long injuries, not afraid to mix it up a bit! How I wish we'd have had him and Koch at the heart of defence all season.

Did we have any winners? Yes, just one scoreline prediction but not without a little controversy but as I am judge, jury, executioner and VAR, the result will stand lol.....

And so onto today and we return to the Premier League...

Southampton are seriously in the doldrums right now with a long injury list and the only slight ray of hope is the 'possible' return of talismanic Danny Ings. In my opinion, he would only make the difference of losing to 1 rather than losing to 0!
Everton have everything to play for being just 3 points off a European place and their huge win over Liverpool at Anfield is only going to cement their resolve and confidence.
With the season having less than a third remaining, let's see if they can push on for glory.

The Small Print

In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll-over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goalscorer or correct score, the prize is shared and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 45 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all payouts will never exceed 50% of post payout. Other bonuses paid out at my discretion.
