How often have I said how much I love the Norweigan leagues and last night, they didn't let me down! What a topsy-turvy result that nutmegged all of you and made my stressed-out SPS wallet a very happy bunny!

Molde forgot to read the script and ended up losing 3-2 to a Valerenga team who played out of their skins! (No idea if they did or didn't, I'm just attempting to be a fake sports reporter who didn't actually see the game!)
So after a deep discussion with my SPS wallet, I have decided to stay in Scandanavia to take a look at the Finnish Veikkausliiga League and the game between...

It always pisses me off when Google can't even be bothered to show the club's crests. Very disrespectful, so here they are directly from their own club websites.

As always, let's start with the league tables, I have to confess, I have never seen a game of football in Finland. Finland is the home of the best rally drivers in the world but driving at impossible speeds through trees on snow-covered roads isn't going to help us here...

Like the Norwegians, the Finnish league has only just got underway so we don't have too much to go on, and normally when predicting results, you need at least 6 games under your belt to provide the minimum sample to create statistics from.

Anyway, IIves finished 5th last year and are one of the better sides in the league and as you can see, have made a decent start to the season. KTP are newly promoted this year after coming 2nd in the Ykkonen last year and with a record of W1 D1 L2 haven't made the worse start in the world, though I would suggest that this may be too much of a step-up to be winnable. Notice the goal difference of both teams, however...

The Small Print

In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goalscorer or correct score, the prize is shared and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 45 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all payouts will never exceed 50% of post payout. Other bonuses paid out at my discretion.

My wallet is happy but a little sad that probably due to the earlier kick-offs and the fairly unknown leagues, we didn't have many entries. @pusen is going to be fined 1 token per day for his shoddy lack of commitment to training lol Give the games a rest, get off the PC and get outside for some fresh air my friend ;-)
