You're not going to believe this, but Champions League qualifying starts tonight with the first round of qualifiers! It only seems two minutes since the final of last season's trophy but yet here we are again in July looking forward to the new campaign... I just found out that this is actually the second week of qualifying. Unbelievable!

But first, what happened last night? We had a winner who correctly predicted the 3-0 score and will be taking home 11000 tokens. He couldn't get the first goal scorer so he ain't that good lol

Anyway, back to Champions League qualifying for tonight's game between...

Tonight's game is absolutely the pick of the round. Two top clubs battling for a place in the first-round proper. The Austrians will have to level up to take this, they've been poor and were poor runners-up to RB Salzburg last season.
Sparta Prague got a hard-fought 2-2 draw out of Dynamo Moscow last week which wasn't the best performance from the Czech giants but if they can build on that, they should be able to see off Rapid quite comfortably.

Simply write the name of the FIRST GOALSCORER and the CORRECT SCORE as a comment. The competition closes 5 minutes before kick-off which is 19.30 BST. (18.30 UTC)

The Small Print

In the first goal scorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goal scorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 45 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all pay-outs will never exceed 50% of post pay-out. Other bonuses are paid out at my discretion.

That 3-0 win for Napredak was a rude welcome to the top tier for Kolubara but a welcome result for @timmzey who quite correctly predicted the result! Well done mate and there are 11000 freshly minted tokens on their way to you!
