It's game week 2 in Belgium Division A and here is how it stands after the first round of games:-
It was a non-winning start for both our featured clubs last week with Eupen at least getting a 2-2 draw away from home in an exciting game against the mighty and defending Champions, Club Brugge. If not for a Club Brugge equaliser deep into injury time, they'd have taken all 3 points.
This was a shock result but totally deserved. Eupen played with attacking flair and were not at all intimidated by playing their opening game at the red-hot favourites and current Champions and are surely going to take a load of confidence and swagger into today's game against another of the giant Belgium institutions, this time in front of their no doubt vociferous home crowd.
Anderlecht started the season with a very disappointing home lose, 1-3 against minnows, Union St. Gillose . Ex Man. City captain and current Anderlecht manager is going to have nip this sort of form in the bud immediately to keep both the support of the board and the fans if he is to keep his job.
Anderlecht have made wholesale changes to the squad during the close season and no doubt need time to gel but its too their more experienced players in the middle of the park that they are going to have to rely on to provide some steel in breaking up the flurry of no doubt endless Eupen attacks.

The Small Print

Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goal scorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 50 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all pay-outs will never exceed 50% of post pay-out. Other bonuses are paid out at my discretion.

Bryan Heynen scored the first goal for Genk last night but after a back-and-forth encounter, they eventually ended up on the wrong side of a 3-4 score line! Anyone want a side bet whether you guys got the result? lol
Of course you didn't! But no matter. the Jackpot rises up and as Leeds are playing tonight the pot is doubled!

It was indeed a very tough match last night and I want to say maybe it was record again that plays is way into that game and that is why Genk lose their feed even after scoring two quick goals in 20 and 30 minutes of the first half before Kvasina pull one back in the 39 minute it was encounter that I will say the Genk has themselves to blame.
