What a game that was last night! Arsenal hit a very controversial opener after Smith-Rowe banged a shot into an open goal as the keeper lay on the ground injured.

To howls of protest from the Manu. U players, the ref took to VAR and then after 3 minutes, decided the goal stood due to no foul being committed.

My own thoughts were that the goal should absolutely stand, Smith-Rowe just reacted to the ball and wouldn't have noticed de Gea down so can't be accused of unsportsmanlike behaviour.

The Game finished 3-2 to Man. U so rather disappointing but at least none of you guys won lol

It's first versus second in this huge clash tonight with Fulham just holding a 1 point edge over their South coast rivals and both teams sitting a massive 7 points clear of QPR in third place.

Bournemouth do have their own prolific goal machine in Dominic Solanke, whose tally when combined with Fulham's Alexsander Mitrovic have bagged an amazing 36 goals between them so far this season.

On the defensive, both teams have let in a paltry 16 goals each so far but that will no doubt change tonight, I genuinely can't see this game being one for @chrisparis!

With negligible injury problems for either team and Fulham captain Tom Cairny expected back from illness, its going to be down to the crowd and the best team on the night.

The Small Print

In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goal scorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 50 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all pay-outs will never exceed 50% of post-pay-out. Other bonuses are paid out at my discretion.
