Barcelona presidential election postpone due to Covid 19
Although the calendar has entered 2021 but the corona virus still spreading. A country like Spain has been hit hard, and this now means that the presidential election in FC Barcelona must be postponed to a later date. That was the conclusion after a meeting between the club and the Catalan government earlier today.
The presidential election was scheduled to take place on January 24, but due to the situation in which the region finds itself, it was deemed that it would not be medically responsible to hold the election on the agreed date. Thus, the three remaining candidates - Joan Laporta, Victor Font and Toni Freixa - must arm themselves with patience. It is not yet announced when you expect to have a new date ready.
