Almost Show Time!

Almost Show Time!

Training and preparing for my first ever body building contest has been an eye opening experience with no two days the same. Some days I could not be bothers attending gym. Some days my diet was completely off and other days I was peaking with everything going smooth!

These photos are 5 months apart and there were times I couldn't be bothered, I couldn't find the energy but I still showed up. To me if I didn't have picture evidence I would have thought that I looked the same today as I did back then. I haven't particularly changed all that much in my current lifestyle. If anything I have been making more conscious decisions around food and what I have been eating.

Today I hit 75kgs down from 94kgs just 5 months ago and with a heap more muscle 💪🏽 Although many people tell me I look good I know I am not good enough to win first place at the contest. I will be lucky to receive an achievement award. But by stepping on stage I would have reached a goal I set this year and that is a big enough accomplishment in itself.

I have also started up and been running my own business selling Australian manufactured and made sports nutrition food and that has had many challenges as we struggle to break into the market. But we continue to focus on the goal at hand.

While sales have been occurring and our social media profile growing we aren't completely out of the race with new clients coming on board each week. The feedback we have received has been wonderful and we are launching a few more new products in the coming days once shipment arrives and we can complete our packaging designs.

It has been a wonderful year of new challenges and experiences but I am just glad we have put our right foot forward and are giving it a good hard crack.

Stay tuned as we have a heap of plans for what we are rolling it. it won't just change the fitness sector but society as a whole.

Reminds me of my first wrestling match when it was time to put my training to the test. As far as I'm concerned, you win the moment you step on stage for the competition regardless of the outcome, as you establish social proof of your workout results. There's no going back after that! :)

In fact, you've already won by making a positive change in your life and health, and by being an amazing example to your children. Best wishes and Keep Going! :)

Do you have any blogs on that? I would love to see that. I've always wanted to get into wrestling. It's not that big here in Australia though

That was when I was a kid in Jr High School. I did just one year of that. It requires whole body strength, and after that, I had to step back and help care for my grandmother, so I never got back into wrestling.

Ah ok, it would have been an amazing experience. Wrestling was always an awesome pass time as kids. We would wake up early on the weekend to watch it. Huge in the early 00s. Doesn't seem to be as big these days though.
