Good night all. Antonio Conte's wait ended. That was after Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal officially signed a contract with the Italian team, Inter Milan, in the summer transfer window 2020. Vidal was bound by a two-year contract with an option to extend one year with the club nicknamed La Beneamata. The Inter camp recruited a 33-year-old footballer for free from the top Spanish La Liga club, Barcelona.

Vidal's name was mentioned as a player who would be kicked out by coach Ronald Koeman from Estadio Camp Nou. The Dutch passport coach no longer sees Vidal and Luis Suarez as an important player. Seeing this situation, Inter and Conte who are Vidal admirers came to offer to provide a major role in the Nerazzurri midfield.

At first, Barcelona asked for a dowry of 1 million euros. However, Inter feel reluctant to comply with these conditions. Inter then let the player negotiate with Barcelona regarding his contract. The Los Azulgrana camp finally gave up and let the former Juventus and Bayern Munich player leave. Later Vidal will reunite with Conte.

The collaboration between the two took place between 2011 and 2014 when they were together wearing the Bianconeri, the nickname for Juve. Vidal is the main choice in Conte's Juventus midfield along with Andrea Pirlo and Paul Pogba. The two then parted ways when Conte was sacked by management at the end of the 2014 season. During his time in the Italian Serie A, Vidal made 124 appearances for Juve scoring 35 goals and 22 assists.
