Host AC Milan had to go through a difficult match when they hosted Hellas Verona with the score ending in a 2-2 draw in the seventh week of the Italian League Serie A 2020/2021, which took place at the San Siro Stadium, Monday (9/11) in the morning WIB.

Milan trailed two goals ahead of the visitors through Antonin Barak's goal in the sixth minute, and Davide Calabria's own goal in the 19th minute. Meanwhile, the Rossoneri, nicknamed Milan, were only able to reduce their position in the 27th minute through Giangiacomo Magnani's own goal.

Luckily for Milan, they have an experienced striker like Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The 39-year-old forward scored one goal to equalize and save his team from defeat.

Although still sitting in the top seat of the Italian Serie A standings, Milan failed to use that one point to widen the distance from the two competing teams under Sassuolo, even Napoli.

As for Verona, Ivan Juric's fleet, which appeared disciplined throughout the match, was still stuck in eighth place with 12 points from three wins, three draws and one defeat.

Verona stunned the home side's defense at the start of the first half. The game has only been running for six minutes, the Milan goal guarded by Gianluigi Donnarumma has been breached by Antonin Barak.

Through a corner kick scheme, Barak managed to strike a wild ball from Federico Ceccherini's header which hit the crossbar. Verona lead 1-0 over Milan.

In the 12th minute, the combination of Rossoneri forward Rafael Leao and Hakan Calhanoglu managed to open space in the Verona penalty box. However, the horizontal bait released by Calhanoglu was not welcomed.

Engrossed in attacking, Milan were again surprised by the Gialloblu's second goal, nicknamed Verona. Taking advantage of the set piece situation, they successfully broke into the host's goal for the second time.

Mattia Zaccagni's volley shot from the end of the penalty box hit Davide Calabria's leg and made Donnarumma fooled. Verona away 2-0 over Milan.

Pressure New Milan to fruition in the 27th minute. A pass from Alexis Saelemaekers' side was mis-anticipated by Giangiacomo Magnani and found the net himself.

Magnani's own goal made the Rossoneri narrow the gap to 1-2. Until the first half whistle sounded, the score remained.

Entering the second interval, coach Stefano Pioli made a rotation on the Milan front lines. Ante Rebic comes on for Alexis Saelemaekers. Diavolo's attempt in the second half also occurred in the 51st minute.

Calhanglu who managed to break into the Verona goal had to be canceled by referee Marco Guida because the player was offside first.

Golden opportunity occurred again, this time Milan benefited from the penalty. However, unfortunately Ibrahimovic's penalty shot soared over Marco Silvestri's goal, who appeared so brilliant.

Never scored an additional goal Milan was increasingly aggressively pounding the opponent's goal. However, Verona's brilliant defensive display by Matteo Lovato and colleagues was able to thwart Milan's chances.

Davide Calabria was able to find the net for Verona at the end of the second half, to be precise the 90th minute. However, the goal was disallowed after the referee saw the VAR broadcast. Before Calabria scored, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was judged to do handball.

Milan finally survived the defeat after Ibrahimovic scored a goal in injury time. Receiving feedback from Brahim Diaz's side, Ibra's header successfully tore the Verona goal. The 2-2 score ended.
