Basic Movements in Gymnastics

Good morning all,

I quickly want to talk about: "The Basic Movements in Gymnastics".

The two basic movements in gymnastics are: Floor Activities and Activities with Apparatus.

I will explain: " Floor activities " only here and now because I am trying to avoid too lengthy post.

Floor Activities
Well, obviously, they are mainly carried out on the floor. Examples of floor activities are:

  1. Running
  2. Hopping
  3. Walking
  4. Jumping
  5. Stretching
  6. Twisting etc.

The list is many. Feel free to mention other examples.
