Manchester United proceeds to the UEL Semifinals to face AS Roma.

It's been a beautiful long run for Manchester United this season in the UEL and a big turnaround for England teams as a whole for they dominated the European competitions this year by have two English teams in the UCL Semifinals likewise having another two in the UEL Semifinals. I really can't say much on the UCL but I think it's quite possible to have Manchester United and Arsenal for the UEL finals.

From the very first leg in Spain, I knew United made it to the Semifinals already but after the first leg, I only had the fear that United was going to play more of a defensive game at Old Trafford considering the fact that Shaw, Scott, and Rashford won't be available but I discovered I was quite wrong when I saw the first half of the game tonight. There was so much power from both teams which I knew would be like that but I also expected Granada's attacks to be more heavier and then having United to contain more pressure which would led to Granada possessing more attempts and more corners. All that actually happened, they even had more attacks but weren't as clinical with their final touches as United did with the some of the few they had.

The absence of Shaw, at first made me forget Telles is also very much good at attacking. He gave so many crosses and fortunately for him and United as a whole the two goals realized from tonight's match surfaced from some of his good crosses.

Who also got scared Pogba would pick up a red card tonight? Sincerely, I thought United was going to accommodate a red card in the match considering the manner at which Pogba was playing in the first half of the game, he was very much physical and him going of the pitch would put Fred into a deep stress which could lead to United conceding than they can handle but luckily for United, it never happened!

I don't know how to qualify Cavani's impacts in United's squad these days again. Personally, I've been deriving so much joy in the fact that Martial isn't around and United has an actual striker to play the No. 9 role, though Cavani is quite high with age but then, he's still as good as the needed one for United at the moment!

ROAD TO ITALY!

United would be heading to Italy again after a narrow victory in Milan some few weeks ago. It's really not going to be an easy one for United as AS Roma is finding a way to keep themselves in the European competitions either by winning the UEL or by winning more games in the Seria A, but it seems they are actually pressing more in and on the UEL title and I'm sure United wouldn't take the title for a joke too. It's been a while United had a Trophy, and it's a time for Ole to prove himself at least worthy of winning trophies for United!
