Ronaldo is Back! Is United whole Again?

I am insanely happy today! Hearing that Cristiano Ronaldo is finally heading back to Manchester United was a great relieve for me today. I've always thought of it and wanted it to happen. Seeing Ronaldo at United again, to me it means he's definitely going to end his career with the team.

It's really a hit news that Ronaldo is Back at United but many questions like: would he presence solve United's trophy problems? Would his presence yield much for United?

All these questions are inevitable but personally, as a fan of United, I would Cristiano Ronaldo is not ready a big deal for Manchester United as it is but he is the biggest depth any football club in Europe can have at the moment.

It might not even be advisable for United to start Ronaldo ahead of Sancho as it is but there's something that follows the presence of Ronaldo and Messi that no other player has. This aura is something that I believe United bought. United already had a team good enough to win trophy before claiming Ronaldo today but Ronaldo's presence on the pitch with the likes of Pogba, Bruno, and Cavani would eventually help United to find it quite easy to pick up at least a trophy this season, that's what I believe!

I am sure a lot of people would be expecting Ronaldo to get back the No. 7 shirt and perhaps start many matches for United but personally, I feel that should be the case. I would love to see more of Sancho on the pitch and Ronaldo can serve as a big fear and threat on the bench. It's just a personal view though.

Ronaldo is 36 years old and many people like myself still believe in what he can do and achieve for a team but I think it's fair enough if he's been managed well and kept for important matches and moments and not just for every minute of the games.

Let's now talk about the depth United now has. United now has 6 senior team strikers including Ronaldo. With this list of players, I don't think injury would affect United's attacking strength so much this season at all.

Having Cavani, Greenwood, Rashford, Martial, Sancho and Ronaldo is more than enough attacking strength for a team like United to have and to win trophies with. My concern for now would have been creativity but sincerely speaking, United has fine creative and active players who I am sure are going to push the attacks well with Ronaldo.

I've not really had problems with United's forwards overtime, adding Sancho and Ronaldo is just adding more strength to goal scoring but as it is, United needs more defensive midfielders and and at least one more defender be it a right back or a centre defense. Wan-Bissaka is quite a good player but I believe he needs a competitor to keep him working harder on his attacking skills but for the defensive midfielders, I feel Fred is the only defensive midfielder United has and it shouldn't be so for a team like United.

Pogba, Bruno, Lingard, Matic, Mata, Van De Beek, and Scott are all more of attackers than defenders and aside that, United's defense isn't wrong enough to stand without helps from the DMs. Well, I can't really say now that Varane is available, the defense should be more coordinated but I feel it's just so important if United wants to seal their quest for depth to sign at least one more defensive midfielders. That way Ole (United's Manager) would see more options to work with in the midfield whenever there is a need to tighten up the team's defensive strength in a team.

Once again, I am so happy to see Ronaldo bad with the Red Devils but his presence isn't the priority but I'm sure the definitely become a deity if peradventure he wins the league and the Champions League with United again. Ronaldo and Varane are bunch of experiences when it comes to winning trophies and having the likes of Pogba and Bruno to work with Ronaldo, I think it's all possible for United to start claiming trophies this season!

United now looks extremely powerful, they have made excellent signings this summer and they appear to finally be able and win the premier league once again. It is boring always seeing Manchester City on the top, so hopefully United can win it this year. I am rooting for CR7 :D
