Will the UCL trophy come to England again?

As a fan of European football, I have come to evaluate England teams as the most impressive this season in the European football space. We've got two English teams active in the UCL Semifinals and that gives England at least 50% chances of winning the trophy.

Having both Chelsea and Manchester City in the UCL gives England much hope for the trophy considering the fact that Manchester City is currently on a great form and Chelsea is an experienced team in the competition. To achieve get to believe more that the trophy would eventually come to England, one would have to take a crucial took at the performances of the two teams from England in their first leg matches.

Manchester City surprised viewers with a dramatic comeback win at Paris having them with an away win and two away goals which gives them this edge against PSG in qualifying to the finals of the competition.

Chelsea on the other hand took an aggressive approach to Spain but had it quite unlucky on their side as they couldn't seize/convert the opportunities they had to make up an away win for themselves but having a draw with an away goal isn't a bad result.

POSSIBLE RED FLAGS IN THE SECOND LEGS.

It's quite obvious that the return leg in and for the two matches would be really tough and could breed funny results at the end of the day. The two English teams left currently have the upper hands in the making to the finals.

Chelsea played fine in the first leg and I guess that would be more aggressive in the second leg as Tuchel (Chelsea's Manager) didn't feature many of his key players in their EPL match that took place tonight at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea would be hosting Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge in few days and based on the performance and stats of the first leg, I believe Real Madrid will be having more fresh legs to start their match in the second leg which could involve them using or playing much or heavy attacks. In the first leg, Real Madrid were more conservative, they played quite a strange formation with less attacks and much involvements in the midfield while their defense remained quite weak.

Chelsea on the other hand played heavy attacks with the likes of Pulisic, Kante, Mount, and Werner pressing forward for goals. Pulisic played much of the goal hunting while Kante played more of the creativity, they were just so unlucky not to have won the match at Spain. Real Madrid didn't get to play up to expectations, perhaps due to the formation used by Zidane (Real Madrid's Manager), their wasn't much of attacking forces and luckily for them, Benzema's dramatic goal gave them the pretty hope of earning a draw even at the expense of an away goal by Pulisic.

MANCHESTER CITY VS PARIS SAINT GERMAN.

The first leg between PSG and Manchester City at Paris was quite a shocking one for me. I never expected such a comeback win Manchester City in Paris knowing fully well that Manchester City is quite used to flopping at this kind of stages in the competition. The season Manchester City has what it takes to be the European king but then, they've not attained that before, they had the chance some years back against Tottenham and they blew it, the opportunity is showing vividly this season again but, can one trust Manchester City this time around?

PSG too had also experienced so many tough times and ill lucks as far as UCL is concerned. They made it to the finals last season and lost to Bayern Munich and here they are again in the Semifinals with less hope of making to the finals.

It's appearing quite impossible to for PSG to make it to the final but then, I don't trust Manchester City enough to be declared the qualified team yet. They had the win at Paris and two massive away goals but I don't really see it as something that difficult for PSG to win Manchester City at Etihad with at least two away goals scored.

One thing I am sure of in the return leg is that the both teams aren't going to play any tactics that's quite new. Manchester City aren't that good at defending goals and it could be a great mistake for Pep (Manchester City's Manager) if he choose to play a defensive game in the second leg. And for PSG, they can only appear for aggressive and offensive which could lead to them having another red card just like Gueye had in the first leg.

CONCLUSION!

If there is a best way to draw a conclusion here, I think the best would be to say at least one of the English teams left in the competition would eventually make it to the finals. It could be just Chelsea, or Manchester City or both of them. The return legs would be more than just a tough match but I believe there'll surely be a shocker!
