Guardiola extends City contract to 2023

With seven months left until his contract with the English club club expires, Pep Guardiola has extended his stay at Manchester by another two years after agreeing a years contract extension.

A lot has been muted about the Catalans stay at the club especially with the champions league ban by UEFA which has been overturned by CAS and the clubs inability to lay their hands on the champions league trophy which they covet so much.

The Spaniard would be hoping to win the premier league again after losing out of the title race to Jurgen Klopps fantastic Liverpool side and also try to win the the much desired champions league trophy.

City have made some additions to their squad during the summer transfer window with defenders Ake and Garcia joining and Ferran Torres also joining from Valencia.
