If i could remember very vividly 24 teams started this competition and 20 teams have bowed out leaving just four.

I'd say all the four teams have equal chanced of winning. I mean to survive from the group stages, down to round of 16, then quarter finals ain't an easy task.
ENGLAND
Well, year in year out the english national would always be a favorite for any tournament including the world cups, i mean see the number of star players gathered over the years but they've always performed below par maybe they are lacking a well technical managers all these while or they were not motivated or complacent but this new england is everything but like the Brazilians played with so much character and confidence, no wonder the English national team hasnt conceded so far in this tournament. They look so good in every department.
Luke shaw has been a stand out performer for england defensively and created most chances so far.
Raheem Sterling has also upped his game too scoring most crucial goals, harry kane has gotten his scoring boots back as well.
And England's game against Denmark will not be as easy Ukraine game, that i can promise because have watched the Denmark played and they seems to have extra motivation apart from the technicality in their games.
Alot of people including me will think its a win for england, thou they must be on their A-game if they don't want any shock from the Danish national team. But will this be the end of the road for the underdog Denmark or they will stun us all and get a win over england? I think its a 65 percent chance for england to go through against 35 percent for Denmark. I see England in the finals.
Italy;
My team of the tournament has to be Italy, lets give it up for them, balanced in every department,. Can't remember the last time they lost since Roberto mancini took charge.
Chiellini bonucci partnership seems like the most formidable duo in the world. Insigne is a crazy goal scorer, ciro immobile, a great goal puncher, jorginho veratti pivot at the midfield is one hell of a partnership. Apart from good games they had at the group stages, their win against fluent attacking Belgian team shows that Italy means business.
And they take every match like a battle, you could see that when singing their country's national Anthem.
do spain stand a chance against Italy at the semis?
I would say Italy has an upper hand against spain. Spain may be techical and plays but i think Italy's energy and composure will be an edge.
Spain hasnt get it right in the attack, morata has been misfiring, sarabia,moreno,ferran tores have not played at their highest level. Even their defence has been shipping in goals. So am thinking Italy might slightly edge out spain in the semis
Making it Italy vs England in the finals, this my predictions though and am sure the world would love to see this except you are from spain or denmark.
The is very taugh fixture especially the match between Spain and Italy. It is highly dicey that i can't say this is the team that can progress but the only reason why i would have given my support for Italy is because they have solid defenders that are capable to holding Spain while Spain defence is not as solid as that of Italy.
You are right, spain defence looks fragile and again, their strikers are not that consistent scoring goals. Though it will be a close one.

Do you think Italy can beat Spain easily or will it be a tough match? England-Denmark will be a soft match where we already know that England will be a finalist.
If at all italy will win against spain, i can bet its not going to be an easy one, tactically spain will come up with their possessive game making it difficult for italy but i just highlight Italy's strength and possibility they might be getting a win.
Infact denmark against england wont be that easy for england like the Ukrainians did, DENMARK are very composed and organized but i see england sneaking out that win.
In conclusion, the final would be England-Italy, brother.

Yes I saw it brother, Italy had a hard time beating Spain, the Spaniards didn't make it easy for them in that game, but the bad thing for Spain was that they didn't have the luck of Italy and the good effectiveness to score penalties.
