THE STREET SOCCER - IT ALL STARTED FROM THE GRASSROOTS
Soccer is fast evolving but Street soccer has been in existence as far back as the soccer itself, One of the things that excites kids and young adults over here is the street soccer. Everyone might not get to play the professional soccer but everyone can play the street soccer.
Commonly played in America especially the south American and in Africa.
- You will be surprised to see the great skills and techniques puts up by those playing the street soccer.
the other time i was watching Péle's documentary and could see how he started playing from the streets even with a barefoot where he did developed his skills, Diego costa is another example infact the list is endless. Most of these south Americans guy one way or the other engaged in street soccer.
And in Africa, this street soccer is been played virtually by all. With or without a soccer boot,or a jersey you are good to go, most of these african top stars playing professionally started off the street, Odion Ighalo, sadio mane, Emmanuel Adebayor, the list goes on.
It is believed that the street soccer is the foundation to the professional soccer, it is from here, some are picked into different football Academies, while some people play just for fun, some play as a means of exercising the body,and while some of us cannot even play soccer professionally maybe because of age, we can't just stop playing the street soccer we love so much.
And every weekend we always come together to play, and have fun both young & old displaying different skills, the dribbling, passes, goal keeping, rabona,and ball joggling, no need of a perfect field or pitch but just be careful to avoid any serious injury.

You will be surprised to see people play in this kind of conditions, but this is where strengths are built, Most times raw talents are discovered in the streets and are then polished to becoming one of the best around the world.
Whatever be the case, being a street soccer player does not mean one can't play at the highest level, just need to be focus,dedicated and consistent.
