Leicester City hosted the struggling Arsenal. Arsenal needed a win to kick start their charge for a European place. Arsenal needed the 3 points as much as Leicester City too because Leicester City wanted to go 3 points ahead of Manchester United that they are both locked on the same points.

Tielemans made it seem like a difficult day for Arsenal when he ran into the box from the side and still slotted home from a tight angle. It was a perfect start for Leicester City and Arsenal needed a response too. Smith-Rowe was played in but his cut-back was blocked for a corner in the 8th minute.

Arsenal thought they had a penalty in the 12th minute when Tielemans was adjudged to have brought down Pepe but with the intervention of VAR the penalty wasn't given and the game resumed. Ricardo had a brilliant strike at goal in the 22nd minute but Leno was on hand to deny Leicester City their second goal. Not too long after, Pepe had a chance in the box and just as he was striking his shot, his effort was being blocked too.

In the 36th minute, Iheanacho tried an audacious shot from far out but Leno comfortably saved it. Arsenal responded and in the 39th minute when a lovely freekick from the side of the box was delivered in by Willian. David Luiz timed his movement and produced a glancing header to find the bottom corner of the net. 1-1.

Pepe drew a penalty from Ndidi when he handled Pepe's shot in the box in the 42nd minute. The referee had to consult with VAR and after checking his screen, he deemed it worthy of a penalty. Lacazette stepped up in the absence of the benched Aubamayang and he expertly converted the ball in the 47th minute. What a turn around by Arsenal from being a goal down to being two goals up.

The half time ended with Arsenal going ahead on the break. Arsenal completed their turnaround in the 52nd minute when a brilliant effort from Odegaard sets the ball into the box for Willian who Lacazette had to make way for you get the ball in. Willian's ball found Pepe who was present in the box to have the easiest of tap ins to make it 3-1.

It was a brilliant response from Arsenal from being down to stay ahead against a brilliant Leicester City side. That win was their second ever win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. The game ended 3-1 in favour of Arsenal. Hopefully, this would kick start another brilliant run from Arsenal whose lovely run put them in 10th place after languishing in 15th place for so long.

Indeed it is a nice one for the Arsenal team, good that they did not give Leicester City the opportunity of overtaking Manchester united and good that the Arsenal team did a great job and made a goal for themselves.
