Manchester City hosted Leeds United hoping to get another 3 points on their way to winning the title. It would be expected before the match that City would attack and Leeds would hit them on the break with their own attacking style too and they did that.

City almost got ahead in the 6th minute when Mendy was played through. Even though he was offside, he still didn't get the needed touch on the ball.

Leeds got a chance of their own in the 16th minute when Roberts found Bamford. The ball went just behind Bamford and was unable to stay in position to receive the ball. That would have been an easy tap-in goal for Bamford and Leeds United there.

In the 19th minute, Fernandinho played Raheem Sterling in and his effort didn't get the required strength to threaten the goalkeeper and a few minutes after, Gabriel Jesus had his effort blocked and flame with Sterling. At this point, City kept on bombarding Leeds but they stayed resolute.

In the 31st minute, Stones found Fernandinho at the edge of the box. Rather than square it, he expertly tried to score on his own but the goalkeeper came to the rescue with an instinctive reaction to stop the ball from going into the net with his feet. Not long after, Zinchenko delivered a freekick into the box area that was met by Ferran Torres but his header went over the bar.

Sterling wasted a golden chance in the 38th minute when Fernandinho brilliantly beat his marker to find Sterling. Sterling couldn't steer his ball into the back of the net from that position and it went out for a goal kick.

Leeds got themselves ahead in the 41st minute when a long ball from the back found Helder Costa who easily displaced Cancelo. He managed to keep possession of the ball and laid it for Bamford who then laid it for Dallas. Dallas struck it beautifully and the ball found its way into the net with the help of the post to make it, 1-0 and his 6th goal of the season.

Leeds found themselves in trouble afterwards in the 43rd minute when Cooper's dangerous tackle hit Gabriel Jesus. Even though he got the ball, the follow-through caught Gabriel on his knees. The referee initially gave a yellow card but after checking the monitor and with the help of the VAR, the yellow card was rescinded and a red card was issued. The coach had to take off Bamford that has been isolated all through the match to reshuffle his pack at the back.

John Stones could have drawn his side level in the 48th minute from the resulting freekick but his header was off the target. The first half ended with Leeds United being a man down but going ahead on scores at the break.

In the 53rs minute, John Stones found Zinchenko at the edge of the box and he unleashed a lovely shot but the goalkeeper was up to it. He expertly saved it and quickly gathered the spillover before Sterling could get near it. Brilliant goalkeeping. In the 61st minute, Bernado Silva almost scored when his effort in the box flashed wide. Leeds United still holding on resolutely.

Manchester City scored with their 24th shot on the day in the 76th minute when Bernado beat the offside trap to lay a pass for Ferran Torres in the box. He brilliantly steered the ball into the back of the net to draw his side level, 1-1.

Raphinha wasted a golden chance in the 85th minute when he was played through one on one. Rather than take his effort or dink it, he went to round up the goalkeeper and Ederson did so well to get a touch with his feet on the ball. What a goal that would have been with 10 men against City. Two minutes after, Raphinha found himself close to the box and he tried to connect with Costa but the ball was just behind and the threat was nullified for City. Bernado almost scored at the other end too when he tried to produce a curling effort but he missed just wide.

Leeds showed their resilience and threat in the 91st minute when Dallas was sent through on goal. He brilliantly held his ground against John Stones and slotted his effort into the back of the net to get Leeds United ahead for the second time in the game. What a turnaround after withstanding a series of attacks from Manchester City. Dallas scored two goals in the game to take his tally to 7 goals. Leeds halted City's charge just as United did a few weeks ago. What a game. What a win.
