Pitana spoil the match

I wonder if some refree don't really know the complete rule of football, there are some mistakes that refrees shouldn't do since there are rules that back the work up. Just a mistake could cause many problems or a mistake that can't ever be corrected so refrees have to be careful.

Columbia has been telling FIFA to punish Nestor Pitana (The referee that officiate the Brazil and Columbia match) due to the mistake he did, the excuse the gave was that he allowed ball advantage which doesn't go in line with the rule of football

The rule of football stated that if ball meet the referee, the referee has to restart the ball by giving the ball to who kicked it last but this referee didn't do that, he made the ball continue and if we look at where the last kicker directed his pass to, two Colombian players are already there, so he would definitely make a wrong pass, this ball advantage that referee said he gave caused the goal in the last minute

I still wonder why the video assistance referee didn't call the referee's attention to this law, or maybe they called him but he insisted it's a goal since he have the final say. Some mistakes can't be corrected once it's made and that's football mistake

Columbia would never forget and Argentine referee named Nestor Pitana caused them to loose against Brazil. This is reason why it's highly needed to follow law so problem won't occur later
