United's goalscoring premier league debutant
Donny van de Beek became the 20th Manchester United player to score on his Premier League debut, during the Reds' 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday. Van de Beek came off the bench to score on his debut in the 80th minutes of the game, after Manchester United went 2-0 down against Crystal Palace. Though Donny and Manchester United had a disappointed start of the premier league season with 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Daniel James was on scoreboard on his debut last season after coming on as substitute in the 4-0 win over Chelsea last season. Anthony Martial did it against Liverpool on his debut 2015/2016 season, and Marcus Rashford against Arsenal.
The current United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, also scored on his own Premier League debut in a 2-2 draw against Blackburn in 1996.
