[ESP-ENG] ¿Cuando vamos a despertar? // When are we going to wake up?
Hi everyone, today for the first time I will be sharing this article in the Sports Talk Social community, thanks to a comment made by @coolguy123 in one of my posts, thank you for taking me into account and for your advice.

Otra vez la Vinotinto quedó fuera de una Copa América, y es más que seguro que quede fuera de la clasificación al mundial del 2022. Hasta cuándo vamos a seguir soñando, y todo el tiempo es el mismo cuento de nunca acabar, técnicos van y vienen, jugadores buenos y otros no muy bueno que pasan por nuestra selección y nos ponen ilusionarnos con estar en la cúspide de los grandes de américa.
La generación del grupo que pasó al mundial de Egipto en el 2009 nunca despertó y por muy buenos que eran jugadores de la época jamás se logró nada importante, pues solo un cuarto lugar en la Copa América del 2011, que mucho celebraron, pero que para mí no fue nada resaltante, pues debemos dejar esa mentalidad de ser conformistas, como hinchas debemos exigir más resultados positivos, tanto a los jugadores como al cuerpo técnico, y al cascarón vacío que tenemos como federación.
Los medios de comunicación deben jugar, como en toda sociedad un papel importante, y no es para menos, pero sí queremos resaltar y dar a demostrar lo malo y lo bueno dentro de la federación y que nuestra selección crezca a partir de las críticas con opiniones e ideas positivas para el desarrollo, entonces la radio, tv, la web, y redes sociales sin miedo tienen que enfocarse en desnudar a diario lo que pasa dentro de ese cascarón vacío llamado federación venezolana de fútbol.
El balompié es un gran negocio a nivel mundial, en donde todos ganan, más allá de un partido muchos millones de dólares o euros, se manejan compra y venta de jugadores, inversiones publicitarias, derechos de transmisión y un sinfín de cosas que genera ingresos en monedas a un determinado sujeto, empresas asociaciones, entre otros.
Once again the Vinotinto was left out of a Copa America, and it is more than certain that it will be left out of the qualification to the 2022 World Cup. Until when are we going to keep dreaming, and all the time it is the same never ending story, coaches come and go, good and not so good players that pass through our national team and make us hope to be at the top of the greats of America.
The generation of the group that went to the World Cup in Egypt in 2009 never woke up and no matter how good the players of that time were, nothing important was ever achieved, only a fourth place in the 2011 Copa America, which was much celebrated, but for me it was nothing outstanding, because we must leave that mentality of being conformists, as fans we must demand more positive results, both the players and the coaching staff, and the empty shell that we have as a federation.
The media must play, as in any society, an important role, and it is not for less, but if we want to highlight and show the bad and the good within the federation and that our selection grows from criticism with positive opinions and ideas for development, then the radio, TV, the web, and social networks without fear have to focus on stripping daily what happens inside that empty shell called Venezuelan soccer federation.
Football is a big business worldwide, where everyone wins, beyond a game many millions of dollars or euros, buying and selling players, advertising investments, broadcasting rights and a host of things that generates income in currencies to a particular subject, companies, associations, among others.

En Venezuela más que un negocio para el desarrollo, el fútbol se convirtió en la empresa de un solo grupo de personas, que solo se han dedicados a negociar a favor de su bolsillo, pues la especialidad no termina de crecer a nivel de estructuras e instalaciones a la altura de las exigencias de Latinoamérica.
Estamos hablando de un monopolio en el que un grupo entre los que destacan, empresarios, medios de comunicación subordinados a intereses personales de un sujeto u empresa, asociaciones enteras que solo esperan y cumplen órdenes sin derecho a la protesta frente a las injusticias de por lo menos contar con un balón para la práctica del balompié, o un estadio en condiciones óptimas.
Seguimos en la misma etapa de sueño o hasta más retrasados de cuando el señor Rafael Esquivel estuvo en la federación, han pasado algunos años desde que le descubrieron su chanchullo, y hasta ese momento la Vinotinto, no ha logrado más nada que ganar un partido más que otro a selecciones como Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia y a Brasil a la que solo se le ha ganado en un amistoso en los Estados Unidos (con eso nos conformamos, hasta hoy, pareciera).

En Venezuela podemos ver desde Estadios abandonados por completo; con instalaciones y estructuras deterioradas, clubes tanto en primera como en segunda división desaparecer por casos de corrupción de quienes los gerencia, jugadores mal alimentados, mal pagado que hasta muchas veces deben caminar kilómetros entero para llegar a una práctica; todo esto es producto de la falta de organización, atención o tal vez la hipocresía de los directores que están al frente del organismo que rige el fútbol venezolano, y de periodistas y medios de comunicación irresponsables, que solo buscan al futbolista cuando este logra destacarse y ser el titular de una noticia, pero para ser más franco, el fútbol de Venezuela a nivel de medios es de cobertura empírica.

Sencillamente cuando cambiemos la forma de dirigir el fútbol y administremos bien los recursos, cuando al atleta desde muy niño se prepare no solo para la práctica y buen desempeño, sino también como ciudadano con sentido de pertenencia por las cosas que a futuro van a dar frutos.
Los técnicos tienen la culpa de los fracasos
A mi parecer más allá de un planteamiento técnico en la cancha y obtener resultados creo que los distintos seleccionadores que han pasado por el banquillo Vinotinto, no han tenido los recursos o el material físico o humano, pues psicológicamente un grupo debe concentrarse y prepararse para alguna acción que resulte exitosa, y si falla algún elemento ya se empieza a cojear de una pata, es decir si falta algo elemental el atleta y hasta el mismo cuerpo técnico pierde concentración.
José Omar Pastorisa, Richard Páez, Cesar Farías, Noel San Vicente, Rafael Dudamel, y ahora José Peseiro son los seleccionadores que desde el año 1998 hasta hoy han dirigido a la Vinotinto, pero ninguno ha logrado trascender más allá de resultados positivos de uno más que otro juego, ninguno se ganó o se ha ganado el respeto a nivel internacional y tal vez por sus resultados como dirigentes, que a la par va ligado con la falta de recursos antes mencionados, pues mantengo el criterio de que sin apoyo del ente regulador del fútbol en Venezuela a los deportistas y entrenadores no se avanza.

The coaches are to blame for the failures
In my opinion beyond a technical approach on the field and get results I think that the various coaches who have passed through the Vinotinto bench, have not had the resources or the physical or human material, because psychologically a group must concentrate and prepare for some action to be successful, and if any element fails and begins to limp on one leg, that is if something elementary is missing the athlete and even the coaching staff itself loses concentration.

En un tiempo sonaron entrenadores para dirigir a la selección nacional, los nombres de Hernán Darío Gómez, Jorge Luis Pinto, Luis Fernando Suarez, Jorge Sampaoli o hasta el mismo Diego Armando Maradona, estaban en una mesa de negociación y dije: "Ahora si se va a despertar del sueño". Pues, son o eran entrenadores exigentes que piden trabajo y esfuerzo del atleta y al órgano rector le exigen material completo para trabajar y desarrollar actividades concretas; entrenadores con influencia en todas partes del mundo, que entran y salen de la sede de la FIFA cuando quieren, entrenadores con voz y voto a los que los árbitros respetan, pero a la federación le dolió darle lo que exigían en su momento y se inclinaron en el 2020 por el portugués José Peseiro, un entrenador que nadie conocía en Latinoamérica y que el idioma para con los muchachos se hacía difícil.
Poco a poco nos fuimos quedando callado ningún jugador se quejó de la contratación del entrenador, ningún medio dijo nada resaltante y creo que hasta los momentos el portugués tampoco ha exigido nada a la federación y solo se ha dedicado a convocar a los que a través de influencias le mandan a convocar. Nunca más se ha jugado un partido amistoso con ninguna otra selección y esto tal vez por razones del Covid-19, pues bien llegaron las eliminatorias para buscar 4 cupos directos al mundial de Qatar 2022 y seguimos soñando y esperanzados ya que en 6 compromisos nos ubicamos novenos en la tabla por encima de Perú que también tiene 4 puntos y solo nos favorece el gol average, con estos números creo que seguirá el sueño de nunca acabar.

La Copa América, fue como una prueba a la gestión completa de Peseiro, porque si es cierto que no hubo partidos de fogueo para esta copa, los nombres pesaban dentro del combinado, más sin embargo ya todos conocemos la historia, y con esto me voy al partido contra Perú, ya que si el entrenador iba a jugar a la defensiva un partido que le iba a dar la clasificación, debió que tener en cuenta que solo con el contragolpe podía marcar y la Vinotinto no juega así, es decir, no es su característica porque no tiene ese recurso para hacerlo, Peseiro no debió cambiar entonces la plantilla con la venia logrando ya dos puntos en toda la copa, lo hizo y ya ven quedamos fuera otra vez.
Seguiremos soñando mientras no se apliquen los correctivos, por parte de la federación en cuanto inversión en estructuras, proyectos de desarrollo para que el deportista se sienta a gusto, seguiremos soñando mientras no haya sentido de pertenencia, seguiremos soñando mientras llegue el entrenador adecuado con características como la de José Pekerman, o Ricardo Gareca , pero no solo de pan vive el hombre que haremos cuando las nuevas generaciones que aprendan a querer a nuestra selección nos pregunten y, ¿cuando vamos a despertar?

We will continue dreaming while the corrective measures are not applied by the federation in terms of investment in structures, development projects for the athlete to feel at ease, we will continue dreaming while there is no sense of belonging, we will continue dreaming while the right coach arrives with characteristics such as Jose Pekerman, or Ricardo Gareca, but not only bread is the life of man, what will we do when the new generations who learn to love our selection ask us and, When are we going to wake up?.

Tienes mucha razón hermano siempre nos quedamos cortos. Entonces tenemos jugadores en muchos equipos del mundo, pero cuando trabajan por la selección pareciera no haber cohesión. Como dices técnicos van y técnicos vienen y no ha habido ninguno que le ponga el cascabel al gato. Será que la vinotinto irá a un mundial cuando entren todos sin clasificar. Pero eso no es lo que se quiere.
Muy lamentable que con una buena camada de jugadores en los últimos años todavía no se avance , en lo que es el progreso de nuestro fútbol, en un futuro no muy lejano y con todo el negocio que representa el deporte rey a nivel mundial tal vez todas las selecciones asistan a la mayor cita de la competencia, y allí de repente los jugadores se esfuercen mas por mostrarse en la competencia, y los técnicos pongan un mayor empeño por demostrar que tienen capacidad de dirigir y obtener resultados positivos ...
